Pope Francis 1 is the first American Pope. It was a rainy day and tons of people from all around came to see this joist day. Pope Francis is 76 years old and lived in Rome for most of the time in his life. No pope has ever done this but before he blessed all of the Catholics he asked for their blessing and bowed in silence. Pope Francis 1 chose the name Francis for the thankful spirit, St. Francis of Assisi.
